The scope of this document is to address and provide guidance onthe countermeasures used to reduce the likelihood of a securitybreach of the SIS that degrades its ability to perform itsfunction(s). This relates to cybersecurity from both inside andoutside the plant boundary.
The scope does not address physical plant protection (forexample, fences, cameras, and grounding), but does address physicalissues related to cybersecurity of the SIS (section 8.2 of thistechnical report)
