CAN/ULC 60832-2 gives the essential requirements for devices that can be attached ontoand removed from the fitting of the insulating sticks for live working for use on a.c. electricalinstallations.Insulating sticks are covered by CAN/ULC 60832-1.In this part of the standard the term “device” is used for “attachable device” unless otherwisespecified.Products designed and manufactured according to this standard contribute to the safety of theusers provided they are used by skilled persons in accordance with safe methods of workand the instructions for use.
